Beardstown school holds ‘Barnyard’ event

Beardstown students had an opportunity to spend time with farm animals on Tuesday, April 5, at the FFA Barnyard event.
The Barnyard is a yearly petting zoo-style event in which students of every grade, from Head Start to high school, interact with farm animals such as pigs, goats, horses, and calfs.
“Every year we have something different,” said Sam Frazier, one of Beardstown’s Ag teachers. This year, alpacas were present.
