Beardstown resident receives honor from Secretary of State

On Jan. 25, Secretary of State Jesse White presented Tim Clark with a letter signed by White commemorating 40 years of service with the Secretary of State’s office in Springfield.
The letter read: “On behalf of the people of Illinois, your fellow employees and the Office of the Secretary of State, I am pleased to congratulate you on your 40 year anniversary with this office. It is with great pleasure that I recognize your dedicated service and present you with a Certificate of Achievement on this milestone in your career. It also is a tradition to give an anniversary pin to those employees with 10 years or more of service to this office. Your hard work and longevity as a Secretary of State employee is commended. Your employment with the Secretary of State is one of integrity, which is fundamental in fulfilling our mission of providing the best possible service to the people of Illinois. I express my deepest gratitude to you for your past service to the office and to Illinois citizens, and I wish you the very best in your continued employment with the office.”
