B’town council OKs bid for new HVAC system at police department

    At its regular meeting Tuesday night, the Beardstown City Council voted in favor of hiring Henson Robinson Company to install a new HVAC system at the police department. The business originally awarded the bid failed to start the project prior to the agreed upon completion date. The project is expected to cost $99,775.
