April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Mayor Steve Patterson signed a proclamation designating April as Exchange Child Abuse Prevention Month in the City of Beardstown during the meeting of the Beardstown Exchange Club on April 6.
President Ann Chelette urged all members to wear blue on each Monday of April to commemorate this National Exchange Project.
