Annual Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice fundraiser a success

The annual Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice Fundraiser Dinner, held Saturday, March 18 at the Elks Club, was one of the most successful in its history. Over 140 people attended and dined on pork loins (donated by JBS) and fried chicken prepared by J. D. Grafford and his staff, and then enjoyed many varieties of desserts donated by Emblem Club #474 of Beardstown.
Horseshoes & Hand Grenades provided the entertainment for the evening. The Virginia Boy Scouts, Pack 126, donated their time to help carry plates for the attendees, ensure the dessert table was fully stocked at all times, and clear the tables after the meal.
