Never too young to learn to manage money

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, Wednesday, Feb. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 19, West Central Bank visited second grade classes at Gard Elementary School.
Barbara Merriman and Justine Mills educated children on how to save and spend money responsibly, as well as teaching them the many functions of a bank. Children learned about loans, savings accounts, debit cards, and more.
In May, the second grade classes will take a field trip to West Central Bank to learn even more money-saving tips and get a closer look at how banks work.
