Man sentenced in Rushville stabbing

    Schuyler County State’s Attorney Ramon M. Escapa announces that Nathaniel H. Palmer, 33, of Rushville was sentenced on May 2, to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and Mandatory Supervised Release of one year for the offense of Aggravated Battery and three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and Mandatory Supervised Release of one year for the offense of Reckless Conduct, to be served concurrently. Palmer was remanded to the custody of the Schuyler County Sheriff pending transport to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
