Providing ‘bread’ for others

When Jesus taught the disciples to pray, He said that we should say, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Bread is always needed to live, and we can depend on God for the necessary things in life.

She was working her way though college because her parents were ill, and had many burdens of their own to deal with. She had some lean times, and one day there was nothing left until payday, except a half jar of peanut butter, and a half loaf of bread. She decided that she could ration these small provisions to last the 4 days. But she also prayed that God would provide enough daily food as she blessed the bread and peanut butter.

On the 2nd day, a letter came in the mail, containing $20. The letter was from someone she had loaned $10 to long ago, and had forgotten about. It said, “I am sorry that I did not return the $10 I owe you before now, but I forgot all about it, until you came to mind today, and I remembered. I hope sending double will be okay, and cancel my debt. I am doing well now.” &nbsp;&nbsp;<ahref="http://etypeservices.com/Cass%20County%20Star%20GazetteID497/"><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.</span></a></p>
