A God for all the seasons
Concerning the weather in Illinois, I’ve heard it said, “If you don’t like the weather today, don’t fret! It will be different tomorrow!”
That certainly has been the case here lately. Just when we thought spring with its warmer temperatures had finally arrived, we had to grab the heavy coat or turn the thermostat back up! Even though I’ve never lived in any other state, I would still say that Illinois is my first choice of places to live.
I’ve had the privilege of visiting other states, and have even made it out of the country a few times, but I always find myself saying, “This is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live here!”
Why, you ask? First of all, because all of my family live in Illinois; especially my four wonderful grandchildren! But I consider myself blessed to live in a part of the country where I can fully experience all four seasons of nature. Though winter is my least favorite and fall is my most favorite, I can honestly say that I love them all. <ahref="http://etypeservices.com/Cass%20County%20Star%20GazetteID497/"><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.</span></a></p>
