Is giving thanks really so rare?

Focus on Faith

Based on the story in Luke 17:11-19
There is that Gospel story of Jesus meeting up with 10 lepers who called out to Him for mercy. Jesus tells them to show themselves to the priest who would have to pronounce them healed before they go home again. But on the way they were healed. You know well the rest of the story.
Only one of the lepers returned to give thanks to Jesus. That one was healed both physically and spiritually. Jesus asked the question: “Were not 10 healed... but none returned to give thanks but this foreigner?”
