Temptations seniors face

    Last Friday, Cassey and I attended our first Grandparents’ Day program with our kindergarten age grandson, Grayson. We love this stage of life and we’re trying to age gracefully. Due to an increased life-span and baby-boomers hitting retirement age, we see an increase in the number of senior adults. We’re told that by the year 2025, people over the age of 65 will outnumber teenagers two-to-one. This not only impacts our culture, but church as well.

    In last week’s Focus, I wrote about two doors listed in the Scriptures. One door was an open door which God gives as an invitation to hope and our calling, an open door which no one can shut.
