A correction regarding a recent story

For the sake of truth in reporting, I wanted to let you know:
    1. My name was misspelled in the June 22 article on nuisance complaints. 2. I have already paid a fine.
My ticket was for trash. the Village sent police officer Zack Zillion as their representative the first time I went to court. He stated that the board defined trash as “anything that is not a yard ornament.” This was very concerning to me as people have swimming pools, swing sets, sand boxes, trikes, bikes, pogo sticks, and various and sundry other objects that are obviously not yard ornaments but not trash (yet four board members had four interpretations of trash when I spoke to them).
