Karen Ruth Bayles Anders, 53, of Glendale, AZ and formerly of Beardstown, died on November 25, 2021, at Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale.

She was born August 25, 1968, in Kankakee. She grew up in and spent most of her life in Beardstown. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lyle Bayles and Bethany Bayles. Karen spent her last years helping care for her niece, Juliana, and nephew, Jordan.

When she did work, she drove for Leather Rich with her brothers and father. She also worked for Clark gas station, Dollar General, and Pizza Hut, all in Beardstown. Karen enjoyed watching television, listening to music, her stuffed figures, YouTube, all holidays, spending time with her family, laughing, caring, and loving for all those around her. She was considered a second mother to many. She was Christian in faith.

Karen is survived by her son, Joshua (Brittany) Anders and children of Jacksonville; brother, Kyle (Dawn) Bayles and children of Jacksonville, brother, Korey (Nicole) Bayles and children of Glendale AZ, brother, sister, Kimberly Ford (Al Bennet) of San Antonio TX, sister, Darnella Ford of Valley Village, CA, sister, Monique Lake(Charles) of Phoenix AZ, sister, Fran Ford (Wilton Range) of Phoenix AZ, sister, Lashawna Harrison(Lawrence) of Peoria AZ, Richard Rice, brothers Sammy Wall, Wallace Wall, Charles Wall of OR, brother Kevin Bayles and sister Kim Bayles of FL, stepmother, Corliss Bayles of Glendale AZ.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. The family respectfully request masks be worn prior to entering the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.sagerfuneralhome.com.
