James “Jim” R. Burgett, 87, of Beardstown, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home.

A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Beardstown City Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
