A hodgepodge of emotions
It was a nice Sunday afternoon and I sat in my recliner in the house covered up. Well it was Sunday, a day of rest, although it seems like every day is my day of rest.

I watched my usual Sunday morning shows: Dr. Charles Stanley preaching and Gerald Flurry, preaching about the last days.
Did you get your blankets out? We’ll still have Indian summer when the white cobwebs float through the air.
Have you ever thought back on the parents of your school friends and how they acted or lived? I thought of one today.
Sometimes after prayers and I still can’t go to sleep, I remember things we did when I was young. My dad would take me and my mother out to eat every Thursday.
Sunday – what a nice day, sunshine and cool. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
I thought the weather forecast called for a week of cooler temps. At least it hasn’t been in the ‘90s. However, by the time you read this it probably will be.
My son and I were watching a program on the different styles of homes in this country over the decades. One was the tenant buildings.
We had a good middle of the week. My middle son works different hours than most people, so he’s off in the middle of week.
We had another nice Sunday – just a sprinkle of rain, cooling things off.
