Henry L. Quigg, 91, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, at his residence.
    He was born, April 4, 1929, the son of Charles F. and Lela Rexroat Quigg. He married Lois Lovekamp. She preceded him in death in 2003.
    Surviving are sons, David (Ann) Quigg of Champaign, Daryl (Patti) Quigg of Jacksonville and Don (Juliann) of Springfield; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, James F. (JoAnn) Quigg of Jacksonville and special friend, Sheryl Raymond. He was preceded in death by siblings, Charles W., Baird R., Albert L., Rosemary and infant sister, Helen.
    Henry was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jacksonville and Arenzville American Legion. He was an Air Force veteran and served in the National Guard. He was farming partners with his brother, Baird R. Quigg, for over 50 years. They were known as the “Quigg Brothers.” Henry was a true gentleman.
    A private family graveside service was held at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Arenzville American Legion. Condolences may be left online at www.dawsfuneralhome.com.
