Helen “Kitty” Sinnock, 91, Beardstown, died Friday, November 18, 2022, in Beardstown.

She was born on July 2, 1931 in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Helen Christine Webster Florey. She married Milton “Greg” Sinnock on November 16, 1949 in New London, MO, and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1993.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Sinnock, Bluffs, Sharon Fisher, Rushville; one son, Ronald Sinnock, Beardstown; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Garnet Zulauf and Ginney Fretty.

In addition to her parents and husband, Greg, she is also preceded in death by one son, Donald Sinnock; two daughters, Peggy Surratt and Diana Perkins; one grandson, Joshua Sinnock; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack “Bud” Florey; three siasters, Dorothy Burton, Betty Lyles and Pat Hageman.

Kitty worked as a clerk in retail for many years. She was a Girl Scout leader and member of Beardstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking cookies, and especially spending time with her family. Kitty had a special love for children.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Beardstown City Cemetery.
