Spring is finally here, worth the wait

We waited a long time for this weather, but it was worth it. What beautiful days we have had. Almost like Hawaii, showers in the morning and sunshine and cool breezes. I would guess they’re not thinking that way right now with the volcano situation.

I want to go outside and pull weeds and plant, but just can’t do it. Three times this week I have tried to get out of bed only to feel like I have vertigo. Hard to walk around when you feel like your head is going to fall off. I’m going to the doctor Monday and see if we can figure out what’s going on.

The ducks aren’t on the pond anymore, and the boys think there are no more fish. I haven’t felt like walking down to look. It really needs to be dug out to make the banks deeper and then add new fish.

All of the fruit trees are in bloom, and that makes the orchard very pretty. I checked my redbud out in front, and it had some bees in it. Thank goodness. It’s not good that we’re losing honey bee populations. Try planting some flowers and herbs this year to give them a place to come and eat. &nbsp;&nbsp;<ahref="http://etypeservices.com/Cass%20County%20Star%20GazetteID497/"><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.</span></a></p>
