People seem to be getting lazier

I must confess, I think people are getting lazy, or I’m hanging around the wrong people. Some of these people are my kids. Nobody wants to garden any more, too much work. They are putting a few plants in large pots. They don’t have to weed much, and just water in one area. They are putting tomatoes, peppers, and herbs; that’s about it.
I had so many broccoli plants and even had them at market last week at .50 cents apiece. They wouldn’t buy them even at that. I think I’ll give one away with every $5 purchase. We’ll see if that works. I don’t want to throw them away, and I don’t have enough space this year to plant all that are left. Besides, the rabbits ate the ones my son planted three weeks ago. I’m not going to replant them just to feed the rabbits.
