Living off of the land

Next month, I will have lived on the land 16 years. It seems like all of my lifetime, because my heart and soul has always been filled with the love of the country. I would never go back to living in town; I certainly hope I never have to.
I am trying to set up the land for my family to carry on, and have living product to eat and sell in the future. If the good Lord could only give me 50 more years to do it.
It’s easier with the greenhouse and being able to start fruits and vegetables that are perennials that will be around for years to come. We will need to replace the seven fruit trees we lost this past year. I would like to put in apple trees.
