Interesting facts about organic food

This week, I will share about the organic effect. I read an article that was printed in one of my favorite magazines. It was about one of my soapbox subjects, so I will share it with you.
Last year in Sweden, the environmental research institute examined the effects of one family’s dietary switch to organic foods, and that result might interest you. The family of five chosen for the experiment rarely ate organic foods. For one week prior to the switch, the family ate normally and provided multiple urine samples that were analyzed for 12 different pesticides (eight showed up).
Here’s where it gets interesting; after eating 100 percent organic food for just two weeks, almost all traces of those pesticides were gone. Is that enough evidence to switch your own diet to organics? It’s up to you how you want your life to be lived, but this study provides food for thought.
