Hoping the rain moves somewhere else

Has anybody started building an Ark? I prayed that the good Lord would send our extra water to California, to somebody who needs it. Also give our humidity to Texas, they’re used to it and can use it to save their crops. I don't want to be selfish and am willing to share this excess. I would just like to be able to get into the gardens to get rid of the weeds so I could see the vegetables we planted. It’s too wet to use the tiller and you can't step into the gardens, because of standing water or because it’s so soggy, you sink. I have been able to pick blueberries because they’re on higher ground, but that's about all, except for the zucchini which are planted at the edges of the rows so you can reach in and cut them off the plant.
The fruits on the trees look good but I have to wonder if when the rains stop (and I'm hoping they do) the bad bugs might show up. Last year the beetles ate all the peaches. There is a good crop on that tree this year and I hope we get some to can or make jelly. We're done in the greenhouse. Good thing, it’s getting hot in there with the sunshine and humidity.

In the last few years, the phrase “fake news” has worked its way into our vocabulary. It is a phrase used to describe information that is accepted as fact by some but disbelieved by others.
