Grandkids and ginger cookies

It’s Sunday evening, and it just stopped raining. The temperature dropped 25 degrees, and it sure feels good. Now we won’t have to go out and water half of the outer garden and the blackberries. We could use more rain, and it could be coming.
My daughter-in-law and I went to Macomb to pick up some items, and I found some netting in the material section that will work to cover the blueberries. The birds wanted to eat there, and I don’t want to share with them. I’ve picked one gallon so far, and there are lots more, I’m sure. I haven’t been out to the garden today, so here’s hoping the birds didn’t eat all the ripe ones because my old cover was all ripped.
