Behind the Garden Gate
Another summer week, and all that goes with it. I was telling my daughter-in-law who lives next door about my tomato plants. It seems something was eating the tops and leaves.
I just got rid of the coons on the deck, eating all the red tomatoes and now this. She came over and we went out on the deck to look the potted tomato plants. She said, “ just as I thought. You’ve got tomato worms.” I hadn’t seen them because they’re the same color as the tomato plants. They cling right along the stems, attached with all their sticky legs.
