An accidental ambulance call

    My daughter and her husband came to mow Saturday. It was their turn. Then they went to his high school reunion. Forty years; I guessed 45, but it didn’t make him mad, he just laughed. It was in Macomb, so not too far away, then back home to  Springfield.
    They brought me one of the bracelets, the medical alert type. If I needed help it calls 911, and then whomever else you list. They wanted to get it set up before they left.

    Recently, two friends explained to me that my article published on Feb. 6 hurt and angered many folks in the community, veterans in particular. I’m thankful they cared enough to come to me.
