It’s not uncommon for anyone walking past Tyson’s Barbershop in Beardstown to receive a friendly wave from the barber behind the chair.


I’ve known quite a few people who have studied and documented their genealogy. Some have gone back as far as the 1500s. Five hundred years is a lot of generations to research.


I was going through some files the other day and I came across some reflections on BHS Sports from out-of-the-past dug out by Roy Roberts.


Dixie L. Prather, 68, of Camden passed away at 9:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
