First Southern Baptist Church, 900 Grand Avenue, Beardstown held a flag pole dedication service Sunday, July 6, after installing a new flagpole in front of the church. A plaque honoring those who have served in the US Armed forces was set at the base of the flag pole. Members gathered and sang the National Anthem and prayed that God would continue to bless our great nation.
