Emma Rosina Fisher, 90, Beardstown, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Heritage Health in Beardstown with Teresa by her side.
She was born August 1, 1931 in Arenzville, the daughter of Ernest and Mathilda Tritsch Schlueter. She married Ronald Fisher on September 24, 1950 in Arenzville and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2018.
She is survived by one brother, Martin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews; just like a daughter, Teresa (husband, Scott); and just like grandchildren, Brandy and Nathan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Arthur, Alma, John (in infancy), Mary, Pauline and Melba.
Emma grew up in Arenzville, married Ron, and moved to Beardstown where she spent the rest of her life. She found the truth from the Bible and was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1961. Emma will be remembered for her kind and sweet nature and her pretty blue eyes.
A private graveside service will be held at Ipava Cemetery. An informal visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown.
