Election judges training sessions set for March 19

    Shelly Wessel, Cass County Clerk wishes to remind all regular and alternate
election judges that election school dates have been set.
    The first school will be held in Beardstown at the Beardstown Elk’s Club located at 205 E 2nd St., Beardstown, Thursday, March 19, at 12:30 P.M. - 2:00 P.M.  
    The second school will be held in Virginia at the United Methodist Church located at 401 E. Broadway Street, Virginia, Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
    The training sessions are mandatory and judges are required to attend at least one of the sessions to receive a $20 stipend.
    Any election judge or alternate election judge who is unable to attend one of the above sessions is strongly encouraged to contact Shelly Wessel, Cass County Clerk.
    Candidates and the General Public are also invited to attend the sessions if they wish.  Anyone interested in becoming a substitute judge is encouraged to attend.
