Edgar “Gary” Mendoza Dominguez, 32, Beardstown, died Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Beardstown.

He was born May 15, 1989 in Villa Guerrero, Mexico, the son of Raul Mendoza and Enimia Dominguez.

He is survived by his children, Renata Idelinne Mendoza, Zaide Guadalupe Mendoza, Valiena Mary May Mendoza and a baby boy to be born in October; companion, Kyndle Sneeden of Beardstown; four sisters, Erika Nancy (David) Mendoza, Martha Olivia (Bernardo) Mendoza, Brenda Sarahi (Ricardo) Mendoza and Dulce Abigail Mendoza; two brothers, Cesar Raul (Sendy) Mendoza and Rogelio (Cinthia) Mendoza; paternal grandmother, Bertha Montez De Oca; maternal grandparents, Pedro Dominguez and Amparo Ortiz; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Bradley Sneeden; mother-in-law, Billie Sneeden; sister-in-law, Kiersten Fundel; and brother-in-law, Dillon McNeff. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Taurino Mendoza.

Gary worked as a self-employed subcontractor, building, and renovating homes in the area. He loved to fish and was an accomplished pool player. Gary will be remembered for his constant smiling face, selfless and giving nature and showing off his underwear. Gary’s greatest blessings given to him were his children.

A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown with burial at Beardstown City Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
