Donald C. Ford, 80, of Rushville died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at his home.
    He was born Dec. 25, 1939, in Canton, the son of Clarence and Leona Curtis Ford. He married Nina Sue Leverton on March 21, 1958, in Rushville, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 30, 2019.  
    He is survived by his daughter, Kim Ford of Beardstown, and his sister, Linda McCue. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brother Ronnie Ford.  
    Donald graduated from Rushville High School in the class of 1957. He worked at Caterpillar in Peoria and in his free time he enjoyed collecting treasures. His daughter was his life, and he was always there to encourage her.  
    Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. The family will meet with friends from 12-1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will follow in the Rushville City Cemetery.
