Schuyler County Court
State’s Attorney Ramon M. Escapa reports the following action was taken in the Schuyler County Circuit Court before Judge Scott J. Butler:
Rodney D. Chockley, 48, of Rushville entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of acohol, was placed on 12 months supervision, ordered to obtain an alcohol evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatment, shall not consume alcohol or be in any establishment that serves alcohol by the drink, and ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $3,287.
Moises Gasca, 21, of Beardstown entered a plea of guilty to driving while license suspended, ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $694; entered a plea of guilty to speeding, fined $120.
Jason L. Jacobs, 30, of Rushville entered a plea of guilty to battery. He was sentenced to 15 days jail and ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $762. Jacobs further admitted the allegations of a petition to revoked supervision for the offense of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, had his supervision revoked and was re-sentenced to 15 days jail and ordered to pay fines and costs previously ordered.
Angela Ratliff, 44, of Beardstown entered a plea of guilty to driving while license suspended, ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $825.
Cass County Court
Kirsten R. Anderson, 21, of Beardstown plead guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Anderson was fined in the amount of $750.
Miguel Escobar Rios, 50, of Aurora plead guilty to a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Escobar Rios was placed on 12 months probation, ordered to pay all court costs and ordered to attend anger management. A charge of domestic battery was dismissed pursuant to plea negotiations.
Margaret E. Morrell, 18, of Beardstown plead guilty to a charge of criminal damage to property. Morrell was fined in the amount of $100 plus costs including $100 in restitution.

Robert Herschel Sampson III, Jacksonville and Elaine Christine Young, Jacksonville.
Christian G. Rodriguez, Springfield and Hernan Cortes, Beardstown.
