The importance of good communication

    Greetings from the Ridge.
Bernice and Harold Rexroat were one of the most interesting couples to ever grace our little town since they were a source of both concern and entertainment in Coonridge, as their arguments became the stuff of legend over the years. There are those who claim that some marriages thrive on conflict, and if that’s the case then Bernice and Harold succeeded mightily. I always felt that Bernice would wait for Harold to take a position just so she could swing the opposite direction. They argued, fought, and threatened to kill each other for about fifty years; then they died. Harold said he purposely waited until his wife passed away so he could attend her funeral.
