The only football coach Triopia has even known was inducted into the Hall of Fame…  Don Kemp began coaching 38 years ago and is the winningest active coach in Illinois with 230 wins, 69 losses and 8 ties. Kemp coached the Triopia Trojans to a Class 1A State Title in 1975 and runner-up twice. He served on the IHSA council from 1967-74 and was very instrumental in development of the playoff series in Illinois.

S-4 Gregg Calhoun, who was recently wounded in Viet Nam, has been sent to the Army Hospital in Okinawa and was happy to find that David Mefford was serving as a Medic there.
