    A couple weeks ago I mentioned another story with my friend Kenny,  so hang on.
    Kenny and I had agreed to do an event in Quincy as clowns. Kenny, who is pretty tall, has a short father. He wore one of his dad’s suits. The pants hit him way above the ankles and the jacket’s long sleeves were almost to his elbows. I had tiny little pigtails all over my head with tiny green bows. After we arrived we put the white clown makeup on our faces.

    Recently, two friends explained to me that my article published on Feb. 6 hurt and angered many folks in the community, veterans in particular. I’m thankful they cared enough to come to me.
