Cindy Meyer, 68, of Beardstown, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

She was born February 26, 1953 in Mishawaka, IN, the daughter of Floyd F. and Wilma Jean McIntyre Bricker. She married George Meyer in 1969 in South Bend, IN and he survives.

She is also survived by three sons, Mark Meyer of Macomb, Brian (Tessa) Meyer of Morristown, TN and Matt Meyer of Pittsburgh, PA; one daughter, Tami Meyer of Beardstown; one granddaughter, Nikki (Ryan) Hamm of Springfield; siblings, Karen and Fred (Juanita McWhorten) Bricker, all of Indiana and Tobi Kerr of Beardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Jean Meyer; and one sister, Katherine Bowlin.

Mrs. Meyer was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting angels, attending yard sales and auctions. She loved to play bingo and cards, watch wrestling and go horseback riding. She was especially fond of her little dog, Misty.

A memorial service was held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Beardstown. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery at a later date.
