Charles O. Holmes, 94, died on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born September 5, 1927 to George and Dimple Holmes. He was married to Audrey Tibbs Holmes on July 16, 1949 and were long residents of Virginia.

In addition to his parents, wife and son, Wayne Holmes, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Robert; and three sisters, Evelyn Beck, Hazel Jockish and Kathern Holmes. Survivors include his daughters, Joby Holmes (partner Jess Johnston) and Louise O’Hern, granddaughter, Dawn Bateman (husband Jared) and great granddaughter, Cheridyn, a brother, Marshall (wife Mildred), three sisters, Vivian Rouland, Ethel Megginson, Georgia Langdon and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be planned for both Charles and Audrey in the spring.
