Beardstown firefighters redirect their water streams from the vacant burning house to the home at 406 E. 3rd Street in the attempt to save the house next door. A generous gift — Members of the Beardstown Fall Fun Festival Committee received a $20,000 donation from JBS Beardstown and UFCW Local 431 to help fund the festival’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
