Fire destroys garage

On February 28 at approximately 5:46 p.m. the Beardstown Fire Department was dispatched to a rural address on Redwood Lane for a grass fire.

International Day at Gard Elementary

International Day has taken place at Gard school for over twenty years. It would not be possible without the generosity of the JBS Corporation, Title grant money and the many hours the teachers of Gard Elementary put in to make this event possible.

AADM attends invitational

The AADM Airborne Team attended the USTA Invitational meet in Rock Island on March 22nd. This meet was an open invitational meet, hosting 35 clubs.

Embrace Life Head Start Child Care officially opened for children in March of this year. At this time, they currently have 15 three-to five-year-olds attending their program.
