Illinois Department of Transportation announced this week that repairs on the bridge that connects Beardstown to Schuyler County has now shifted to a longer section. The first part of the repair has been completed.

Jacob Lopez, 23, Beardstown, was cited May 13 for disorderly conduct, aggravated battery on peace officer, aggravated assault on peace officer and criminal damage to government property. He was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
