At the Beardstown City Council meeting Tuesday night, resident Jack Fearneyhough noted that several positive things are happening in Beardstown.

Proud to be part of Virginia

The City of Virginia hired a young man named Tanner Force to be the public works director at the city council meeting on June 9th. Force has been on the job for approximately two months now. He states that Virginia is a town full of nice people and pride.

Lutheran church hosts arts camp

First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 W. 4th Street, Beardstown, will hold a Music and Worship Arts Camp 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 5-8th at the church.
