It’s amazing how life can change in such a short time. Last week I wrote about getting a dent in my car fixed and this week I’m writing about a dent in my heart.

A-C Central High School will host a Community Blood Drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals. The blood drive will be from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16 at 601 W. Buchanan, inside Donor Bus

Chloe Campbell, 19, a Beardstown native and 2024 graduate from Beardstown Christian Academy (BCA) is the daughter of the late Scott Campbell and Chris and Jennifer Jarrett. She has three brothers, Kyle, Cameron, and Conner and her beloved grandmother, June Conner.
The Arenzville United Methodist Church will begin facilitating a thirteen-week GriefShare program from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16th This program will be held in the church fellowship hall at 200 E. Fredrick St. in Arenzville.
Once again, the VFW #1239, Beardstown, will be engraving bricks for its Veterans Memorial Wall, located on Wall Street Extension.
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) will welcome potential new members of its amazing volunteer team at an orientation session Wednesday, September 10.
