Cargill awards Beardstown Christian Academy ELMO technology grant

Cargill Meat Solutions has awarded a grant to Beardstown Christian Academy for ELMO technology items, which are now being used in the sixth grade classroom. The complete ELMO system included a document camera, wireless tablet, multimedia projector, presentation cart, and surge protector. The addition of the ELMO system will increase student engagement, allow for multi-sensory and interactive lessons, and improve learning in the classroom.
“We have a strong curriculum, encourage our students to walk with Christ, and strive for academic excellence. We are excited about this technology, which will enhance our current programs.  We want our students to be prepared to find their place in a world where the use of technology is a must,” said Jeremy Norton, BCA Administrator.
