A-C Central grad completes PhD

    Clarissa Edge Richardson, formerly of Chandlerville, graduated Aug. 8 from the University of Florida with a PhD in counseling psychology. Clarissa is a 2005 A-C Central High School graduate and she graduated from Illinois College in 2009 and completed her PhD studies at the University of Florida in June 2014. From July 2014 to June 2015, Clarissa performed her APA-accredited internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
    Dr. Richardson accepted a teaching/research position at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. She is the daughter of Stan and Kim Edge of Springfield, and the granddaughter of Milton and Hazel Edge of Chandlerville and Larry Lynn of Oakford. Clarissa currently resides in Moscow, Idaho, with her husband Ben and daughter Hazelynn.
