Bluffs to get new stop signs

It was announced at the June meeting of the Bluffs Village Board that new stop signs will be seen in the village over the next few months, as the village received a grant from Scott County that was first applied for in 2008. One stipulation of the grant is that all signs must be replaced within nine months.
In the Utility/Street portion of the meeting: Employees have installed half of the new meters throughout the village. Software was also purchased to assist with water/sewer billing. Cost of the upgrade was $5,000.
