Barbara A. Taylor, 83, of West Burlington, IA, died at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born February 15, 1938, in Schuyler County, she was the daughter of Clarence and Gladys Morris Billingsley. On November 22, 1976, she married Richard L. Taylor in West Burlington. He died on March 30, 2021.
Barbara graduated in 1956 from Rushville High School.
In her younger years, Barbara worked in accounting services for 20 years. She also worked as a real estate broker associate for 17 years. She owned a few companies including Tiffany’s Bakery for seven years, and Moms and Babes at the mall for five years.
She was a member of the West Burlington Christian Church and West Burlington United Methodist. She enjoyed camping, travel, singing gospel and country music, spending time with her friends and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Damon Butler of Burlington; two step-daughters, Denise Morse of Burlington, and Diane (Randy) Jordan of West Burlington; and step-son, Doug (Amy) Taylor of Milliken, CO; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Darrick Butler, three sisters and seven brothers.

The funeral service for Mrs. Taylor was held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Nancy Sutherland officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
