The Beardstown Softball 11/12-year-old All Stars are one of four teams left with a shot at winning the Illinois State Championship. A 3-1 record in pool play gave the Tigers the right to advance to tourney play where they will definitely have a punchers’ chance. Tri-County eliminates Tigers

A rough first game of the tournament against Tri-County sent the Beardstown 9/10-year-old all-star softball team into the loser’s bracket. From there they picked up a nice win over Brown County before getting a rematch with Tri-County.
