Assembly held in memory of former A-C Central Student, Alaria Bell

On December 20, A-C Central School held an assembly in memory of former student, Alaria Bell, who tragically died December 14, 2023. Teacher Anna Stevens was able to work with Alaria’s father, Patrick Bell, to arrange a time the family could attend. BETA Club member Max Kesselring read a poem and HS/MS Principal Anthony Mansur and Superintentant Dr. Amy Zahm spoke at the assembly. The art and woodworking classes crafted a concrete stone with butterflies and a flower made of glass that is being placed in front of the school, and a photo of Alaria will hang in the school in her memory. “Letters to Alaria”were given to the family that many of the students wrote in their high school English classes. “Mr. Bell said afterward that he was incredibly thankful for the gesture by both staff and students” stated Mansur.  Photo submitted.
