On Saturday, September 20th, the life-sized figure of Abraham Lincoln sitting on a bench reading the 1857 Almanac was sat in place outside the Lincoln Courthouse and Museum. Present were (back row) Mayor Tim Harris, artist Stanley J. Watts, Commissioner Randy Reichert, Commissioner Ron Culves. Sitting is Commissioner Nancy Bley Cowen. Not pictured were Commissioners Paula Woods and Emma Taylor. The Museum will be hosting Polaroid pictures on September 27th for visitors who wish to have a picture taken with the statue.
