Juanita Ilene Noe, 82,  Beardstown, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in her home.  
    She was born September 13, 1938 in Beardstown, the daughter of Eddie and Cynthia Surratt Maltby. She married Gary C. Noe on July 15, 1987 and he survives.
    She is also survived by two children, Melissa “Missy” (husband Mike “Wally) Meyer and Christopher Dodds, both of Beardstown; three grandchildren, Jason Meyer, Paige (husband Austin) Feigl, and Lexi Jo Dodds; a great grandson, Easton; one sister, Shirley Moore of Beardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cynthia in infancy, a grandson, Matthew Meyer, a sister, Bertha Jane Clements, and a brother, Hazen Maltby.
    Juanita graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1957. She retired from the IRS for the State of Illinois and as Postmaster for USPS in Meredosia. She was a member of Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. She liked going to Hardees with her girls group and traveling. She never missed her grandkids extracurricular activities. Her vibrant personality would light up any room and she will be greatly missed by all.
    Funeral services will be held at Noon, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. The family will meet with friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the memorial home. Private family burial will be held in the Beardstown City Cemetery.
